Step 1 :- Find out where to apply for License?
PWD Department is the main office which issues Contractor License. PWD means Public Works Department. In states like Andhra & Telangana it is referred to as Roads & Buildings Department. If you get license from this PWD Department, you can take up Building Construction, Roads, Bridges & other infrastructure projects.
Apart from PWD Department, many other departments like Zilla Parishad, Irrigation Department, Forest Department & major city corporations also issues Contractor License.

Step 2 :- Arrange Required Documents
You need to arrange documents, necessary to apply for license. All the documents that you produce, the department verifies it. Nowadays, Verification is very strict. So make sure you arrange the documents properly before applying. If possible, get it verified through a consultant.
Step 3 :- Fill the Application Form properly
You need to apply for License, either Online or Offline. It completely depends, in which office you are applying. You need to fill the application form with caution. Step 4 :- Pay application fees and submit documents

Step 5 :- Approval of your License by Department
