There are various types of contractor license in India based on the nature of work and the scale of the projects.

Based on Nature of Work, there are 2 kinds of license in India, they are as below,

A civil contractor license is a type of license specifically for individuals or firms engaged in civil construction projects. Following are the types of electrical contractor license issued in almost every state in India. They are Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4. In some states they call it as Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D.
