Dadagondanahalli Village is located in Madhugiri Taluk, Tumkur District. We executed a project of Construction of Check Dam.
Clearing of Jungle Growth
We had to clear thick jungle growth including bushes up to 300mm/ parthenium and other weeds including burning or disposing off. We did this activity using JCB. Below are some of the photos of it,
Excavation for Foundation
Our next activity involved Excavation of Soil including boulders up to 0.60m dia (0.113 cum) for foundations of canal cross drainage and other appurtenant structures. For this activity we did marking as per Design drawings. Then we used JCB to excavate soil. Below are some of photos after excavation.
Centering work
Our next activity involved centering in the excavated portion. After excavation was completed as per drawing, we did centering using sheets.
Bar Bending Work
After centering sheets were placed, we started Bar Bending Work. Bar bending work involved straightening, cutting, bending, hooking, lapping, welding of TMT steel.
Laying of Concrete
After completion of Centering and Bar bending work, we started with laying of concrete work. First, we lay M-15 grade cement concrete using 40 mm grade aggregates for foundation. Then we lay M-20 grade cement concrete using 20mm grade aggregates for sub structure works.
Stone Pitching Work
After laying of concrete work activity got complete, we did progress towards next activity, that was Constructing 300mm thick dry rubble stone pitching with pin headers at 2 per sqm using stones and stone.
Completion of Check Dam Work
Once all of the above activities were completed, we handed over to the site to client. Below are some of the picture after completion.
